We spent part of my history/government class discussing that question this morning. There is a website- http://www.scopesys.com/cgi/today2.cgi - that will look up events in history on any day. Actually, I guess there are a lot of those sites. It is impossible at this point to guess at why it happened today. At least, in my opinion. Oh, and Hitler's birthday was 4-20, I believe.
