Now, i am at my frustration phase. I was mad, then sad, now frustrated. It is a sorta off-topic frustration but its related to todays events. Why, after all that happend today, are people still praying? I have been long convinced of the absence of god. I have came to my conclusion that god is an ancient idea brought up to try and personify actions from nature. People were scared of nature, they had no idea about science. If we can personify it and pray to it then maybe we can control it. God, the devil, father time. I mean, its obvious. My problem is that a tragic event happends today and people who believe in god pray. God obviously wasnt looking out for the people on the planes or the people in that building or the pentagon or the firefighters. He let so many people die for no apparent reason. Still you pray. Why pray to a god who let you down so many times and lets things like this happen. If you do good, you thank him, but when bad things happen you dont blame him or question him. I don't think blind faith is healty. the people who hijacked these planes believed so heavily in their causes they were willing to die. I think organized religion is a big part of our problems, but thats not the point. The Bilbe says life is sacred, then why die in the name of god? I am absolutely distraught about this, it's horrible, we will not see anything this bad ever again, and Im glad we wont, I wish we didn't have to see this in the first place. I just think this country need less prayer and a little more time keeping your eyes open. People put so much faith in god that they hide behind it. Im not going to pray for anyone since i feel it wont help. But I do feel you sadness and I hope the families of the victims and those unaccounted for the best. I love you all and hope no one gets offended.
PS Don't give me shit for thinking, you don't even have to pay attention to what I said. But I know you guys are quick to tear people apart so know yourself out, my intelligence quotient is high enough to stay out of a flame war. Just a few thoughts.
