You could probably fit this prophecy around alot of horrors that have happened since WW2 e.g. when the allies after WW2 split and fought the cold war, but I wouldn't call New York the city of God, the world trade buildings weren't really torn apart but instead torn down and I certainly wouldn't call Bush the great leader (although if great meant the ammount of people he led it could work) You'd be better off looking in the book of revelation for a more detailed prophecy of the end.
