How can some of you people joke around about this? And its not just stupidy, some of it is people that can't seem to understand what this really is. Probably 10000 plus people are dead. 10000, think about that. next time you drive by a local cementry, their probably arnt anywhere near 10000 graves there.
10000 people, Maybe some of these people should try and count that high. I go to a big high school. Its pretty big, and is packed full of people, and it only holds 2000.
10000 is like a stadium guys. All those people, dead. And their famlies, the vicitims that they didn't get a chance to kill, they get to suffer through that forever. Some may never even get to bury there love ones. Some will never be found.
Imagine having to be "not sure". Never having a grave to go to.
Some were probably kids. They never had a chance.
And unlike Pearl Harbor, these were all people that had nothing to do with anything. At least the nevy people knew the risk of joining the Navy when a war was going on.
And if the numbers don't make some of the people realize how "funny" it is, think of how some of them had to died.
Being on a plane, not know what was going to happen of you. some just trying to go home.
Going to work and doing something you've done before.
And then the people trying to save other people. Just trying to do the right thing, then crushed to death, or wrost. Buried under junk while people walk past you because you're buried under tons of junk.
Sure, when they came on the P.A. today to tell us about what happened, some people laughed and joked.
Well, It sickens me. This isnt like other bombings, where a few hundred (still bad) died. This is 10000.
And if you guys still cant find the "humor" in this, at least keep your jokes to yourself. Theres people on thiis board that lost loved ones. And some that had to watch their friends die.
I can only hope that if there is anything good that can come from this is that some of you guys relize whats funny and whats not. Try imagine what its like. I dont cry alot for things that don;t directly affect me, and I know people that are the same way, but I'm not ashemed to admit I cried when i finally relized whats been taken away from so many people.
So if you guys can't atleast stop thinking this is a joke or "cool", then dont post....
