I was just hearing on the news, as I expect many have, that NYC's gonna need all the blood they can get -- for 2-3 weeks.
That's a lot of blood.
I wasn't able to make it in to the hospital tonight... but dammit, I'm going. Even as terrified as I am of needles.
I just hadda make a call to donate [since I don't see an obvious one.]
I've lived through enough "history." I just wanna do what I can do for the folks that need it. [And given that I live in flyover country, that's all of giving blood and praying.]
