We finally stopped watching the news and put on the Dogma SE DVD...
We looked at eachother when Rufus explained to Bethany about having ideas and beliefs. She looked up at me...
"This is what he means huh Mommy?"
I was taken aback...
"Yes, people twisting and perverting what should be based on love..."
So I read a few posts in here and I am sadden...and scared...
Not only of what happened, or what could happen, or where my sons may be involved in soon...
I am scared of fear and hatred taking hold of my nation. Anyone see the movie (can't recall the name...bangs her head) but it had Denzel Washington, Bruce Willis, and Annette Benning...about terrorism...
They imprisioned Arab Americans as they did with the Japanese Americans after Pearl Harbor...
I want justice for this act of terrorism, but I don't want hate to blossom into some jingoistic madness...
Just wanted to share that...
