is that phone lines in the NY area are virtually gridlocked, and it's near impossible to get a call through (this is what I'm hearing in the media, at least). If you know what flight they were supposed to be on, you may be able to call and see if, indeed, they flew out yesterday rather than today. However, I assume it will be extremely difficult to get a call through to the airlines, even--they're probably beyond flooded right now. If you don't know what flight they may have been on today, however, I don't think there's anything you can do; you may have to wait for them to get through to you.

Hang in there.

: ... my parents and family friends were supposed to leave from New York on their way to Italy yesterday. However, sometimes they decide to stay an extra night before leaving... is there a way I could check to see if they left yesterday, or were planning on leaving today or something? I'm freaking out, cause there's no way for me to contact them!
