Okay, I've completed my screenplay. I've had a couple of people, not including friends and co-workers, tell me its pretty good. I'm looking for advice on where to go from here. Unfortunately, I do not have the credit cards to max out, otherwise I would have done it already. Do beginning writers just send out mass mailings of their screenplay and hope? Do they pick a couple of production companies and just hassle the crap out of them? Any advice from anyone who has succeeded and failed at this endeavor would be greatly appreciated.
