Greetings and salutations-
Alright, I'm a senior in a small high school in Eugene, Oregon, and i've got a question. This year i was given the duty of finding a show to direct and produce for the stage. Being a movie and film lover, of course i looked to the screen. And what i found that would work for our incredible $250 budget is the Kevin Smith classic, "Clerks". But that's where I run into a problem. I don't want to just steal the story and use it, I want to know if I could get permission to use the script and adapt it for the stage. Please remember that this is for a small production in a little town just to raise some money to keep our high school theatre program going for as long as we can. Thanks for listening,
