Hey Kevin:
I don't know what it is about your films, and J&SB (the characters) in particular, but I find your work irresistable. It appeals to those folks who can totally identify with J&SB while at the same time attracting and satisfying people who dig a good goof on guys like that.
As for the gay community's spokespeople, I was sorry to see that they didn't welcome your attempt to mainstream views on homosexuality. Damn, do they not get it or what? Reminded me of the uproar brought on by the Church at the opening of The Last Temptation of Christ. Idiots.
Anyway, I have always wanted to have the opportunity to ask you this: Are Jay's lines totally scripted, improvised, or a combination of the two? They seem spontaneous, which would be a huge credit to him, but if they are all you, then my hat's off.
