No joke here. A very good friend of mine has become very sick and is currently undergoing chemotherapy and soon will be having a stem cell transplant.
She is a die-hard Kevin Smith movie fan and really wanted to see "Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back", but couldn't because of the therapy and won't be able to even leave her house until December.
I would gladly pay to get her a copy of the movie now. I would sign any kind of legal form required to promise I wouldn't make one single dub of it.
I just know it would lift her spirits a ton if she could see it during her recovery.
I know this may sound like a line of B.S., but is anything like this at all possible? Even if I couldn't get a copy of the movie, an autographed T-shirt or anything like that. I would pay to get something like that personalized.
Any chance?
If it sounds like a line of bull, I can give you her address at the hospital. She's there for another two weeks.
