I would just like to express a big thank-you for making this movie for the fans. This movie despite various negative reviews, is for the Kevin Smith Fans and was truely hilarious-I laughed as hard on my third viewing! With comparison to the sad state of faux-wannabe-Porky's teen flicks hollywood keeps pimpin out to the kids-->(the American-Pie movies which are not funny and not fun!) Jay&Silent Bob Strikes Back was as badass as The Empire Strikes Back and as hillariously brave as Cheech&Chong, Lenny Bruce, Richard Pryor, Andy Kaufman, and Howard Stern.
I am about the same age as Kevin and I too was in "nirvana" after coming home at age 6 or 7 from seeing Star Wars for the first time. Since then I grew an affinity for dick and fart jokes as I have gotten older and more immature and therefore have become a loyal fan of Kevin Smiths work- "Jay&Silent Bob Strikes Back" and "Ghostworld" are the best examples this year of true creative films for the people.
