Sorry for something so off-topic, but I gotta tell someone--I met THE MAN HIMSELF, ***GEORGE LUCAS*** just after the Madonna concert in Oakland tonight. I didn't actually go to the concert, I was picking up some ladyfriends who needed a lift home, and ended up parked next to Lucas' limo as I waited for them. After the show ended and Madonna raced out of there behind a police escort, I looked up to see Mr. Star Wars himself walking toward the limo with his daughter(s?) and some of their friends. I scrambled to find paper and a pen and jumped out of my car to introduce myself and ask for his autograph. I think the only word he uttered was "sure" after I asked. I said thanks and bid him a good evening, and he ducked into his limo and that was that. Is that cool or what? Huge Karmic payback for helping my friends out.
