Something I noticed on the second viewing:

After the van blows up and Jay does his "Justice!" yelling thing, you hear a kind of choir singing. It sounds the usual music you would hear to heighten the tension in a dramatic moment in any other film. Except with a little twist. "Justice is dead! Or so Jay thinks!"

Maybe I'm easily amused, but I laughed my ass off. Of course I was the only one in the theatre to appreciate it. Anyway, it was a nice touch.

:
: I also heard that Kevin Smith is set to cameo in "Boogie Nights 2: RollerGirl goes to Hell." Sounds like a good time.

: Seriously, I enjoyed the movie. Even if I was probably one of 10 people in a packed, stadium-style theater to laugh at the "magnolia fan" ref. I think I was the only one to recognize Coee (whatever) Lunden and Rick Derris. Doesn't it just make sense that Derris would become a cop? It's a logical transition, I think, from trainer to policeman.

: Also, I got a lot more of the dialogue the second time through the movie, cos the second time there was like ten people there.

: Stuff I missed the first time that I liked the second time:

: In the Mooby scene, the music is muted when Silent Bob puts the cup on Jay's erection. When the camera cuts back to a shot of the cup, you can still hear the music. Nice.

: I loved it when right after Nadia Justice asked Jay to steal the monkey, he puts his cheek on Silent Bob's and says the line "I can't believe I'm gonna..." in a really funny voice. Funny.

: Randal telling Dante that Dante would be the bitch in their relationship. "That's how I've always pictured it..." or something like that.

: Jay talking about rubbing his nose on clits during the making of the video. Very funny.

: Stuff that I noticed the first time, but was still really cool:

: The Buddy Christ on Sister Mary Leia's dashboard.

: The cup in Brodie's hand. Also, the giant Variety headline. Didn't really care for the pretzel joke, though. My wife laughed, but I thought it was gratitous as all hell.

: The "Chasing Amy" music when we see Holden for the first time. Also enjoyed the "since Greedo shot first" line. Damn youse George Lucas!!

: "Hey lady, ever had your asshole licked by a fat man in an overcoat?"

: "Damn youse all straight to hell!!"

: Silent Bob yelling at Jay. I could picture years of frustation at hanging out with such an asshole (face it, Jay's a jerk to Silent Bob) coming out. Several people, including my wife, clapped. I just laughed my ass off.

: Stayed for the ending, along with like 10 other people. Several of them yelled at the theater as the "thank you's" scrolled at 65 MPH. I saw Alanis in the credits, but didn't remember seeing her in the flick. Glad we stayed for the real ending. My wife, though, hates Alanis. It comes from looking kinda like her, and having everyone mention it when they meet her. She wasn't pleased with the ending because of that. I, however, was glad that we stayed.
