I do'nt know if anyone really gets why you are leaving behind Jay and Silent Bob(in film), but it really makes since because you do'nt want to be known as the guy who ONLY made movies about Jay and Silent Bob. (even though it was funny as hell) True, J&SB are box office gold,
but you as a filmmaker are going to explore other elements in film.
AND in the prosess i would bet a shit load of frog skins that you will win an oscar for your finest work. (Chasing Amy, overlooked)
