Hi Kevin and all here. I am a frequent user at the site kuro5hin.org - "Technology and Culture, From the Trenches". Last week, a really insightful post was made regarding one person's trip through detox. What was his addiction? _CAFFEINE_.
This is a great read for anyone who thinks that being hooked on caffeine is nothing to worry about. I think that Jay and Kevin would be interested in a story like this, given Jay's feat over illicit drugs.
Granted, a caffeine addiction is not as bad as other things, and is a hell of a lot cheaper - but it's the attitude that "the government sanctions it, god bless em" that can lead to an even heavier and longer withdrawal. If you're worried about Jay, take a look at the link below - it has a good conversation there too. Also -- if you like k5, feel free to check other happenings going on there!
And a sidenote to Kevin and the Viewaskewniverse: Offer's still on the table for a bit of Ohio State partying if you guys are ever [God forbid] in Ohio/Cleveland/Columbus!
