Market? MARKET? Sheesh! The guy has the fan base to allow him to do stuff he actually WANTS to do. Something he feels something for instead of "what will bring in the most scratch". The man has obviously shown a knack for making films on the "cheap" which more than make their money back right away! I'd rather see a flick made by a guy who actually WANTS to make the flick as opposed to some piece of big studio, calculated to appeal to the lowest common denominator, designed to bring in the mega bucks TURD any day! Did you see Titanic (God, what a MASSIVE pile of premeditated shit!)? Did you see Pi? Interesting, clever and engaging. Well, I bet the money that went into the former would have paid for a HUNDRED of the latter. If the movie doesn't LOSE money, then, guaranteed, someone will pony up the dough for another (ie: Fletch "3") so more power to Mr. Smith! Integrity pays, son! A little disjointed, I know, but that's what happens when I hear someone shitting on Dundee!
