: I expect to be harassed for this one, but I really want to know if I am the only one out there who was thoroughly disappointed in her "acting" (yes I use this term loosely) abilities. Not only in JASB but also in A.P.2. (Granted she wasn't good in A.P. either.) Now I understand that people (must) cast her because they (think) she's good looking, but I lose a lot of hope for the future of films in this country when I think that there is no girl out there who is as pretty or prettier than her, AND (gasp) more talented. (Although it wouldnt take much.) Did anyone else feel the same or even similarly??
Well it's easy to say that someone can't act, or an artist can't paint or a band can't play music. It's all subjective. I can say that one baseball player is better than another one and follow it up with stats, but you can't effectively do that with acting. Like it or not acting IS an art form, and just like any other form of art there are always going to be people that like it, people that don't, and people that are jealous. Unfortunately, "Drama Queen" I think you fall into the third category.
Shannon Elizabeth probably works very hard to get where she is, and probably doesn't give two seconds of thought to a jealous Internet junkie. By the way, how many movies have you been in? To make comments on her talent and her looks without reasons of WHY you think that, is pretty childish.
I'll be the first to admit that I'm a big fan of her's. So my comments are biased as well, but I just hate when the cynics of the world come out of the woodwork when someone works hard and gets somewhere in life, even if I'm not a fan of their work. Something to think about.
For a silent guy, I sure do talk alot. :-)
