: While I'm certain that there are some instances where kids are buying tickets for PG-13 films and sneaking into J & SB, I don't believe it's as widespread as you make it out to be. The two times I went to the movie, I didn't see anyone who didn't look like they belonged in there...but what I DID notice was how empty the place was. In fact there were a total of 6 people in the theatre when I saw it on the 2nd Friday. I then walked into Rat Race for a few minutes and guess what...it was PACKED. I couldn't believe it either, but the masses like shit like that. : Perhaps in your town, things are different. Remember that this is a big country and people have different tastes in different parts of the country. Try this...go to a busy chatroom like the movies area in Yahoo Chat and take a poll...I did and found that people are going to The Others, AP2, RH2, Rat Race in droves...yet it's not so easy to find people to talk about J & SB SB. : : : : I have seen the film 8 times. : : Most of the tme, it was packed. : : My friends in Vegas say 'packed'. : : It has been fucking Labor Day Weekend, and yet the film is #7??? : : Hmmmm... : : I have posted I thought there was some conspiracy involved, but the one thing that bugged me was that 'The Others', a no doubt decent flick, was constantly AHEAD of Jay and Bob, when the week before, it was slipping on out.. : : Today, when I looked at the papers, I saw that The Others was..PG-13??? : : Hmmm.... : : Jay and Bob are beaten by Pie Fucker 2....I can believe this, as audiences LOVE the characters, it IS a decent, if not contrived, film...and it is TRULY 'mainstream'. : : But RH2 is headed for the $1 theatres. : : The Others should have left the building a LONG time ago. : : Rat Race??? They are not gonna release the next JP4, or whatnot. : : Anyone who has been to a theatre knows DAMN well Jay and Bob isn't #7. : : In Temecula, they added a SECOND SCREEN. : : They did this in Vegas, too. : : I really don't know why Kevin has not looked into this, but I guess it may not be a big deal for him..the film will crawl out with around 44 mil, which I THINK is double what the thing costs. : : If JP3 makes 200 million, it is considered 'Huge'..but it may have COST 100 mil to market and make. : : I think the best move Kevin could make is to rush this film to DVD and video.... : : It will make HUGE bank... : : All in all, I am angry that movies like RH2, The Others, Rat Race, etc. are all making money off of Kevin. : : I am going AGAIN tommorow, cuz I was so blind, I missed the BluntMobile.
