Temple of Doom? J&SBSB

Sorry if already posted but was there a nod to Temple of Doom in J&SBSB? There is a part, dont want to see, a person falls, and Jay says to him as he falls See you in Hell. It seems the fall was like that of the bad guy from Temple of Doom. The view and all of the fall. Also Indy says "I'll see you hell" in Temple of Doom. Was it a nod to Indy?
