I'm almost certain someone else has already pointed this out, and if so, well damn me for not being quicker on the draw, but anyways, as is my custom of the evening, I was dicking around on the computer, not doing much of anything constructive, and just out of curiosity I entered "www.jayandsilentbob.com" in that little address bar thingee at the top of my browser. Damned if it wasn't the complete opposite of what I expected. It's the "official" Anti-JSBSB web site, so it says. Well, alright, sure, whatever...Being VA fans as we all are, we realize that not everyone loves Kevin Smith movies as much as we do. So, negative comments are definitely something we've come to accept as par for the course ::ahem:: Mallrats ::ahem ahem::. And with this newest flick, being basically a big ol' love letter to us loyal freaks such as it is, there's no question that even less people would "get" it. So, curious as to what new insight these fine folks may provide on just why JSBSB is such an irredeemable film, I decided to take a look.
This site doesn't spend nearly as much time arguing against the film as it does trashing Kevin and the VA folks personally. There are some things that just aren't cool, and this is one of them. I'm all for thrashing a flick I don't like, hell, I pride myself on being able to do it well, but there's no reason at all for attacking the personal character of someone you don't even know. The saddest part about it is that this site is actually, from a technical perspective, REALLY well put together, which goes to show you, there's a lot of people with lot of wasted time floating around out there, that they can actually put THIS much effort into basically calling someone an asshole.
