Top 5 things that annoy old posters and get new posters yelled at:

5. Personal grievances that last for numerous posts (If you're gonna bitch at eachother, do it privately. Long drawn out back and forth jiba-jaba-bliba-blaba one on one arugments are boring. Take it to email)
4. Asking Kevin to read your screenplay (Like he really has time for that)
3. Off topic posts (i.e. "Is anyone awake?" "Top 10 movies of all time!" "Which are better Doritos or Fritos?")
2. Delving into the personal lives of VA people (Its their lives, let them live it, its none of our business)
1. The question "What happened to Clerks 2?" and assorted questions that are commonly asked with easily available answers(READ THE SUMMARIES DAMMIT!)

I started on this board a year ago and was also given a hard time. Its just kinda part of the deal until you get used to the community. This board is like another universe compared to other boards/mailserves and other communities. People are pretty harsh at times, but its just part of the game. Think of it as a frat initiation for being the new idiot . . . oh and READ THE SUMMARIES! Thing that's funny though is no one really knows for sure who is new and who isn't by names alone. What you post identifies you as new and stupid.

To make a long story short (too late), just chill, don't take things personally, READ THE SUMMARIES and if you didn't find your answer, ask it! And after all this if anyone jumps on you, remember that we all aren't real people anyway. We're just voices from your computer. Who gives a fuck what we think?

This is a really fun place to be, but with the onslaught of new posters, people are going to get a bit annoyed for a while. Let the storm pass . . .

Jennifer
