On Monday night, seeing how it was labor day and all in Canada and I did have to work, I decided to take in a movie and the theaters, and seeing how the movie I once was reading up on as "VA5" now known as Jay and Salient Bob Strikes Back was in the theaters I wanted to go see that movie. So I get ready, And on my way out the door I grab 10 buck from my wallet and chuck the wallet on my desk "I don't like taking them to the movie theaters because my friends feel out of his pocket once and he lost $75.00" and head in town. I get there to a long line up at the ticket booth, but the line up is all worth it because I will get to see the greatest movie of the summer. So I am waiting and waiting, % minutes pass, 10 minuets pass and 30 minutes pass. Finally it is my turn, I am so pumped now, I am out 10 minutes away from seeing the movie. I walk over to the booth with some kid working in it. and I say "1 for strikes back please" and he says "Do you have an ID ?" so I reply back "Are you firkin serious ?" and he says "we need to see an ID!" So I step out of line, to watch little preteens get in to American pie 2. That movie is rated "AA" in Canada you only have to be 14. Strikes Back is rated "R" you have to be 18, BUT I AM 19... Like come on, even if some one say 16 wanted to see this movie, what will they do after words ? tell some one of ? the only bad thing about it is jay potty mouth, every time he says a word the rating on the movie goes up :) I guess I will wait till the DVD is out, because that was my last attempt at supporting the movie industry before they hit stores, the same shit happened to me before.
