At the same time, the FLETCH series of novels have sold millions all over the world for years and years--the movies, while funny, have never been a very good interpretation of those books. If Kev can adapt them well, and market it as a new movie based on the same property rather than a sequel (shouldn't be hard, as different studios are at work in the original and new FLETCHes), he should be able to capitalize on Gregory McDonald's audience more effectively than Chevy Chase and company.
