: I don't think that Jay And Silent Bob Strike back should be the last movie. I think overall it was the funniest... but the best thing in J&SB Strike Back was all the nostalgia. I broke out laughin at the end when Snowball came on. No one else knew what it meant, but i laughed the whole way through.

Kevin doesn't want to feel the need to constantly be referencing his earlier films every time he makes a new one (I mean if we are going to get a Fletch film with Jason Lee in we really don't need it to be tied down in View Askew references). That would only ultimately serve to hold him back as a storyteller. And as the films progressed he would be alienating more and more of the audience - sure all the true fans who have followed his career would "get it" but the general movie going public shouldn't really be expected to play catch up on years worth of movies - and Kevin's box office would eventually wither and die. We've had seven years of enjoyment out of the Viewaskewniverse and Kevin is still going to be giving us animated adventures and comic books - we should be grateful of all that he has given us and be grateful that he has enough respect for us and his characters to move on before the schtick gets old. Oh and one last thing, snooch to the motherfucking nooch!!!

Paul :)
(Grateful)
