And Dogma is one of my top 5 favorite movies. And it's not just because I was being "open-minded" or whatever. I don't think that the movie was in ANY way offensive to Christianity and shouldn't have been offensive to Catholicism, either (judging from the Catholic people I know)

Because everything that was said in the movie was basically true. Like the scene with Bartleby and Loki after they get thrown off the train...that is SUCH a good scene...I almost had tears in my eyes, cause everything that Bartleby is saying is really true. And because I'd heard of all the commotion regarding the movie, I was kind of LOOKING for things to be offended about (although, i wouldn't have been offended probably since it was Kevin's movie) :)

But anyway....I just think that Dogma is an awesome movie....pretty much the only thing that wasn't "biblically correct" was the portrayal of God as a woman. But hey--it's a comedy, right? :)

Okay, I'm done, cause I think that I'm starting to ramble....

: Alright, so let's say you've seen Dogma (and I know you have), here's a question for you. If you were non affiliated with any sort of religion, would this be an enjoyable film to you because it does in some cases attack organized religion, but not God? Or would you just pass on it due to it's dealings with the fact there is a God. Now, if you did profess to some sort of religion, would you hate this movie for its sometimes indictment of religion? Or would you appreciate it as a thought provoking piece that rarely comes outta Hollywood?
