:have nothing better to do then worry about everyone else's business. I'm what some on the board might refer to as a "newbie", and definitely just somebody who cares. I'm so proud of Jay for finding the strength to change. Unfortunately, I've seen what these things can do to a person, and it's a horrible thing to experience. Not only for the addict, but for the people that love them. I've had first hand experience, as my mother was an addict, and I had to watch her destroy herself on a daily basis. As a result of this, at thirteen I had to raise my baby sister when my mother dissappear for days on end, and was raped by somebody she let stay in our house when she was passed out in her room and couldn't hear me crying for help. My point is this; there's nothing funny about being addicted to something like that, and it's incredible when anybody can find the strength to make that change. Although Jay's situation is very different then the experience's I've had, it's important to me that everyone knows just how much Jay has actually accomplished by being successfully clean and sober. Once again, sorry to bring it up, I'm just so proud of Jay for finding his way out, and turning his life around. I wish him nothing but the very best in the future, and although I don't know him personally, I stand alongside all the rest of you; right behind him every step of the way. Congratulations Jay!!
