You're in Canada? and it's rated 18A where you live? It's only AA in Ontario (that meaning you have to be 14 or older, or with an adult). Not that it would bother me if it was R, since I'm 20, but I thought it was AA all over Canada.

: Well, it seems that Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back has topped the $15,000,000 mark in the United States (probably a couple million in Canada, too), which means that if the budget was (as reported) $15 million, KEVIN BROKE EVEN!

: I'm not exactly sure who paid for it, but the flick broke even so who cares? Now, it's onto making money. Whoo!

: Now, I know that the movie "O" that's out now (tonight, actually) has been met with some controversy. I know the basic Othello plot and stuff...and I don't really see what the trouble is. In my hometown, the flick was advertised as 14A...but then changed to 18A because the film boards don't want to be held responsible for anythng bad that happens because somebody saw a movie. *Shrug* I, for one (being 16), wanted to see that movie. And I wanted to see J&SBSB repeatedly...but NOOOOO, I have to get an adult to accompany me. I hate bitching about this, and while I probably will see both movies (again in J&SBSB's case), it's a pain in my Canadian ass to have to ask random people to be my adult or to bother the other adults in my life to take me. Ah well... that's life, I guess.
