As some of you may not be aware, there has been a rip-off of Kevin perpetuated by the Domican Republic and Danny Almonte. If you haven't been following the story, Danny Almonte was a pitcher for a Little League team that won every game he pitched, including the World Series. Then they discovered that he was 14, two years too old to play (among the other reasons). This is clearly a rip-off of the Clerks Cartoon, specifically episode five in which Dante coaches a Little League team and convinces Jay -- who's 26 -- to play for them.
[SPOILER FOLLOWS]
Through Jay's dominance, the team ultimately wins the World Series.
[end SPOILER]
So here's what we have to do. Everybody has to E-mail Danny Almonte and the Little League's Domican Republic Recruiting Branch and tell them that we won't put up with people who rip-off our favorite filmmaker. So, I'm going to look into getting those E-mail addresses, and I'll let you all know where to direct your politely phrased (please! be polite) diatribes.
And if anybody wants to write a form letter for us to E-mail, that would be appreciated.
