: I don't believe such a thing for a second. No "independent filmmaker" spends twenty million dollars without having some vision in mind. I think that the execution was not there in this movie. And, c'mon, Jason Mewes has a difficult time carrying a movie. With a nearly mute "Silent Bob" as a lead, there's no decent bantering between the main characters, the type of which shines in all other View Askew films. Yes, there were alot of jokes, but I can't believe Kevin thought sketch-comedy material and stand up routines would suffice as a movie.
: We all believe Kevin is very thoughtful and quick-witted, so I can't defend this movie by saying it was supposed to be so dumb. That doesn't say much for Kevin or the viewer.
