: I think that the execution was not there in this movie. And, c'mon, Jason Mewes has a difficult time carrying a movie. ... Yes, there were alot of jokes, but I can't believe Kevin thought sketch-comedy material and stand up routines would suffice as a movie.

I thought the movie was good, and had a blast watching it [baked] in the theater, and then again saturday at the drive-in, but I also felt there were alot of scenes that needed to be tightened up, or added to with fresh material. I was kind of disappointed with some scenes, like when J&SB are over at McNeil's explaining the plot while Bob mugs to the weird "mood music", and some other scenes like the diamond heist/martix wall walk and how most characters played parts they usually act (Will Ferral as the idiot, Chris Rock as Nat X). I knew the movie was about making fun of that stuff but sometimes I felt like I didn't know if I was watching just another Dumb & Dumber. I guess I still longed for more of the dialouge driven humor of Clerks.

So although I wasn't sure how I felt about the style of the movie, I thought it WAS cool, and there were a TON of quickshot scenes that were just hilarious!! I had a really good time watching it with friends. Jay does an AWESOME job of doing clit and fart jokes like they were meant to be delivered. and the Carrie Fisher/by the book joke was the best!!

I am going to back to see it again to enjoy it some more, and maybe I'll wait until later to develop any other opinions of the style. Excellent movie dude!
