People should know by now not the listen to what critics have to say. Critics are simply another by product of our over commercialized society where we need to have other people tell us what to think, because heaven help us if we waste two hours of our precious time seeing a bad movie. Usually it's easy to tell what movies are going to be bad or not for you. The media will latch onto anything they can, as we should all know with the Clinton scandel, the current Condit scandel (which I for one am getting SO F_ING SICK OF HEARING ABOUT!). So, while it's unfortunate to say the least what Rivers said, it's not uncommon at all in the media.
