OF course the askew gang, wasn't in red bank.
But he did attend the Red Bank International Film Festival, where AMERICAN MOVIE, a documentary ABOUT him not BY him was screened as well as a copy of HIS movie, COVEN.
Coven blows. It's cool that he got to film his dream and it was a profitable movie for its investors. But as a film it blows. He was handed 50 Grand for his next one by an uncle who died and he still hasn't done shit with Northwestern and that footage is all from 1997.
HE was a really nice guy, very happy with himself, so good for him. He's living the way he wants to.
But to see a man who could be talented wasting away in Wisconsin (sequel to leaving las vegas?), who was drunk at 6pm before a speaking engagement, paying child support on 4 kids, and trying to use that movie to scope chicks at the after party, was really just kind of sad.
Nice guy, but a guy just like any i could pay five bucks to wash my car when i go home for the weekends.
