I haven't been able to go see Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back yet because in the town where I live, the theatre decided it wasn't going to play it the opening night or the weekend after that. Seeing that I am such a big fan, I was somewhat pissed off. Anyways, I will see it as soon as I can to try to help you guys out and because it looks like the best movie out in theatres at the moment anyways. What I am getting at is that if anyone ruined the movie for me...I think I would go crazy. Hence the fact I hope that I didn't ruin anything for anyone. Well I suppose I have been going on and on for long enough now. I will keep up with the postings and maybe write another some time. Well, thanks for your time.

Well, Chasing Amy is my favorite of Kev's flicks, and I will attempt to answer your question. My interpretation of this interaction is that Banky is asking Holden whether he is going to go see Alyssa (hence Banky's head gesture towards where Alyssa'a booth is) Holden indicates yes, and then Banky makes the gesture seen earlier indicating a "Shared Moment," which Holden hopes will happen, which is indicated by the fingers being crossed, probably meaning he hopes that he and Alyssa will get back together. The thumbs up is probably just a "go for it" type gesture, for good luck and such. Anyhoo, that's my take on the scene.
