However, this may be referencing that the Clerks Cartoon exists in the same plane as Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, since they do, after all, steal a monkey in Episode 3 of the cartoon show. Therefore, they have stolen more than one monkey. I do find it improbable that the Suzanne incident would happen almost exactly the same way more than once, thus placing the "Chasing Dogma" story on a different plane of existence...plus, they don't technically steal the monkey in that one. It escapes and they allow it to accompany them...
