To all members of the Viewaskewniverse past and present:
Each voyeur finds a certain solace in his endeavor. We watch Kevin Smith’s films because, in each of them, we find something we need, be it an escape, a laugh, or a reality people are too repressed to admit. For this man, as I’m sure with many others, inspiration was found. To make what is already a post too long for most a little more concise, let me say the formation of Double Life Films and my participation therein is a direct result of the courage and art displayed in the works of Mr. Smith (and, of course all those who have helped). That said, I would like to extend an invitation to View Askew employees and associates to the premier of Josephine, an independent film shot in Dallas and Colorado. The premier will be in winter and details will follow for those interested.
As an independent filmmaker, money is tight (as I’m sure you remember once upon a time). Our art is our gift and in some small way our thanks.
