Hello Mr. Smith-
I enjoy your films very much and admire your attitude toward filmaking and Hollywood itself-but not as much as my friend Aaron, who loves your work. We attend the same college (Fairfield University) and he bears a resemblance to you-so much so that we occasionally call him "Silent Bob". I completely understand you are an extremely busy man with a life of your own to lead. However, I would feel like a jackass if I did not make this request: is it at all in the realm of possibility that on April 30 (his borthday), you could make a 1 min call to say "Hi happy birthday"? I am keeping my expectations low and I have a feeling I'm proabaly going to just end up getting him a DVD again. But if this were to happen.....I would win every argument we ever had from this point forth. And isn't that worth something? Thank you. i will check the board to see if there is a reply.
