They really don't take that long, we tend to go and not stop until there's a break in the tape. For example, A BETTER PLACE had four reels, so at each reel change we had to stop and then resume and it was all edited togethe rlater. It really doesn't take much longer than the length of the film unless you keep stopping and starting, and going back and re-recording.
