It was the most wonderful sight in the world to see my daughter (all 9 lbs, 1.5 oz of her) pop her head out of you-know-where and see the world for the first time. I was a blubberin' fool the whole time. She is the most beautiful baby girl in the world. For two nights (Fri and Sat) we had some false-alarm contractions. Then, last night, I called my love from work and asked her how she was diong. My ulterior motive was to see if she could stand a trip up the road to see a movie (you guessed it, I wanted see Bubble Boy). She says "OK" then calls back ten minutes later to tell me her water broke! The way she described it, I pictured that scene in "The Coneheads" I finally got to sleep at 10:30 this morning, and I'm about to go back up to the hospital to see my girls.
