I dug it. It's hard to give an off-the-cuff opinion because the movie has been so much in my consciousness for the past few months. But I laughed through the whole thing.
A better opinion would be that of the three friends who went with me to see the flick (31-M, 33-F, 25-F). They're casual fans who have seen and enjoyed your other movies, but they wouldn't recognize Steve-Dave on sight or get the stink-palm reference. They laughed all the way through the movie, too, and agreed that it was very funny, even though they felt like they were missing some of the in-jokes.
On the way out, they all asked me what you were planning on doing next, so you're not driving away fans with this one.
You should probably add in ticket sales from all the fifteen year olds who snuck in. Three of them sat next to us and blurted out, 'That's sick, dude!' at all the cock-sucking gags. But they seemed to like it otherwise.
