Kevin, just wanted to join the masses in saying a heartfelt thank you. Yes, I enjoyed the film. Near as I could tell, most of the people in the nearly-full theatre I went to on Friday night (Manville, NJ if it matters) enjoyed the film, laughing out loud at the parts when they were supposed to. And if there were a few things they didn't all catch, so be it - there were some REALLY inside jokes in there. Most of the audience even stayed for the credits, which was a thrill for me to see; that's pretty rare. Either word got out about the gay disclaimer, or they watched me tell my friends not to go yet.
And Silent Bob's tirade at Jay received a resounding cheer. :-)

Can't wait for the Clerks animated film, because the series kicks some major ass. That's not exactly the most articulate way of putting it, but there's only so much goofing off at work I can get away with. Hey, if J&SBSB was a fan-oriented film, and has made $11 mil so far and was #1 for a night and #3 for the weekend, imagine what Clerks: TAM can do?

Thanks again for everything. You made being from New Jersey something other people can laugh at. Wait, they were doing that anyway. You made being from New Jersey something I can be proud of? No, that doesn't quite work, either. How about, you made a series of films that made being from New Jersey look fucking cool. And that takes some serious talent.

I look forward to seeing where you go from here. And I'm loving Green Arrow so far.

Jill
