: Here's somthing somebody sent me, does it make sense to you?

: Julie Dwyer supposedly died on the 15th of April. Mallrats
: takes place a day after her death, so it would obviously be the 16, correct?
: Not to mention, this happens in 1994. HOWEVER, Mallrats also takes place
: before Easter. But in 1994, Easter fell on the 3rd. So............ no. That
: doesn't make sense. (To dispute or agree with this information, see
: "Mallrats," "Clerks: The Lost Scene," and a 1994 Calendar.)

I don't remember a ref to the month, or the year for that matter to be frank. I know the film came out in '94 but wouldn't that mean that shooting was taking place in '93.
Also, if the reference to when Dwyer died is based on te decorations in the Mall in 'Rats' then the basis is flawed. At many universities and colleges spring break (which would afford T.S. and Brandi the time off required fr the Florida trip) often takes place in March. Brodie even refers to the Easter bunny stage having been erected "on the other side of the mall. It's been up since two weeks after Christmas."
Either way it's a goofy bit of trivia like when the guy in front of Forrest Gump's college refers to the "video tape" of Forest picking up the girls books several years before Video "tape" exists. Actually this is probably on par with the guy who noted that he was pissed that Forrest refers to Jenny as having died on a Saturday or Tuesday, either way the date on the tombstone didn't match up.
Basically I'm argueing suspension of disbelief but I'm waiting by phone for my interview to call and I thought that I'd wax prolific.
