I don't care about the numbers Kev, this was without a doubt the best film I have ever saw. When I saw American Pie 2 its opening weekend, (no way in hell I would ever see it if it would mean competing against View Askew) I laughed, mainly at Stiffler's part and was pleased with a sequel I thought surpassed the original. Many jokes in the movie hit I thought, so much so I saw it a second time just a few days later. I won't lie to you, I was a bit scared. I was scared that it might make Jay and Bob look bad from a comedic stand point because that was 2 hours of non-stop laughs whereas many of your other flicks combined an incredible comedic beat with other tones such as an "askew" love story, a serious religious commentary or a number of other themes. However, I never lost faith that this movie would pull out all the stops and beat American Pie 2. I saw it on Friday at 2:15, the earliest show my local theatre offered and I must have lauged at Jay and Bob twice as much as American Pie 2. Affleck was outstanding, not only as Holden but as himself in the "Hunting Season" stuff as well. That was one of my favorite parts of the flick, and you gotta love the Moonraper bit. There were countless others. I especially like how the Jay-Justice love story as well, so much so that I recently called this girl I'm trying to get with my boo-boo kitty fuck. She looked at me cross and I told her she's gotta come see Jay and Bob with me to get the joke (2 more tickets for you). I loved it so damn much. I have already seen the flick five times in four days and will probably see it again with that girl before I leave for college to study filmaking. On a local news broadcast I heard someone say that Kevin move this was made by you for the fans and what I liked best about it were the jokes that only I got. Like from hearing your DVD commentaries the jokes cracked on Ben for Phantoms and a number of other little bits and pieces. I could go on and on singing this film's praises. The bottom line is, this was undoubtedly the funniest movie I have ever seen and I laughed watching this flick like no other. Thanks Kev. My stubs are in the mail. It doesn't matter that it got beat by American Pie 2 and Rush Hour 2 (which I'm schocked at, AP2 I could see, but "fuck Jackie and Chris, fuck them up their stupid asses"). So Jay and Bob only got the bronze, it beat out American Pie 2 in my heart.
