: I'm an atheist and I must say "Dogma" summed up most of my feelings about organised religion quite eloquently and succinctly. It is truly better to have IDEAS than BELIEFS!

I dont want to get into a religous debate but I view god as to be nonexistant. Humans personify what they dont understand so we feel like we can control everything. Personify nature to god and maybe we can pray to it and sway it one way or another. Make god a semi-human to keep us in line was the original point, i think, many years ago. No one knew about laws and rules so they developed gods to pray to and rules these gods supposably want us to live by to keep us in line. Its the 20th century for crying out loud, I would hope that by now we don't all still believe in the invisible man in the sky who "loves" us and watches over us. If god exists then he is the worst god ever. Too much fucked up shit in the world to claim god exists. If he loved everyone as much as people claim he does then he wouldnt let shit happen. Open up your mind and wake up. Its all a shield to hide behind. Good Day.

PS Dogma did rule.
