You are right. But I think we as Christians sort of come to grips with the fact that we sin all the time and some sins just ain't goin away, not in this lifetime (for me it's masturbation) and we must recognize that it is not acting sin free which saves us, it's the belief that those sins are wiped away by the cross, if only we let him take them, and believe that he does.
Also- somewhere in Proverbs it says that no man can control his tongue. That's the bible baby- NO MAN, which includes you.
