I saw the movie this weekend and I have to liken it to Michael Jordan's basketball career. For anyone who doesn't know, Michael Jordan is perhaps the greatest basketball player ever (although debatable, I'm not doing it here). Michael Jordan's last game was in the NBA finals where he led the Chicago Bulls to a 6th NBA title. Michael's last shot in the NBA was a jump shot that he made and that won the game, the series and the Championship. After the game, Michael retired and his legacy lives on to this day.

After all that crapola, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is metaphorically Michael's last shot to win the championship. It brings a end to a movie series (The Jersey Five) that I enjoyed to no end but I can agree that it's time for the story to end. However, it went out just as good as you can hope for and the legacy of Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back living forever in the hearts and minds of all my fellow View Askew fans. After all that, all I can say is..."Skrelnik." Great job to Kevin, Scott and everyone else that kicked mucho ass and I look forward to the other works in the future (but especially the animated movie, long live the cartoon!)
