: I'm not going to go as far as saying "Dogma brought me back to the church! Praise be you Kevin Smith! Kevin Smith is GOD!" But after seeing Dogma, I began to think more about faith, the nature of God, and all that goobledy-gook. It even played an important factor in my descion to get confirmed in the Catholic church.

I was raised Lutheran. I really got a lot out of the movie Dogma even though it was meant to be a comedy. Where Muse said that no religion has nailed it yeat, it's only important that you HAVE faith (something like that) really stuck with me. There are such strong beliefs that are so different. Catholic nuns at our home town catholic school actually said a prayer in class for a student that was not a catholic. They wanted everyone to pray for him to convert because he would go to hell if he didn't. That was so wrong! My best friend use to be a Jahova witness. They said there is not enough room for everyone in heaven and ordinary people will never see it. So, I think personal faith is the key. We will all know the truth in the end. Sorry, I babbled on ;-)
