I know you probably won't read this but in the rare possibility that you do, please answer. Well anyway, at my school every year we hold a huge fund raiser an all night thing, and we raise money for ALS, which is Lou Gehrig's Disease. All the money that we raise goes to MDA, which is the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and we present it to them on the Jerry Lewis Telethon. My brother started this at my school two years ago b/c we have a very close friend who is dying of ALS, and in case you don't know what happens, it is the deterioration of the muscles. So we had to watch our very close friend go from standing and being healthy just like you or me, to not being able to talk and lift his own hands or legs, not even his own head. I am hopefully going to get to take over what my brother had started at my school, or at least help out, and this event is usually held around april sometime. In the last two years we have gotten a huge appearence from kids alone and from adults who want to come so they offer to volunteer and help out. Last year we raised over $10,000. What my question for you was that, my brother, has always tried to get people who are well known to come and help out or just make an appearance so maybe the kids who aren't interested in donating the money, are interested in meeting these people, so they will come and donate the money to get in. In the past, he has gotten some DJ's from radio stations to come and do a little show from the school, or take on the teachers in a vollyball tournament. So i was just wondering, i know your schedule is probably packed, but i was wondering if you would be able to come out to my school, and make an appearance of some sort, or if you wanted you could stay all night, just to get every one a little riled up about the whole thing, plus it would give the people who already are donating a little more incentive to come and have fun that night. I think it would be a great suprise, and i know as well as i, tons of people in my school love your movies and would want to meet you. I was thinking of people i could ask and i decided to write you a letter here, b/c i didn't know how else to get a hold of you, but hopefully you read this letter.
