"Real" newspapers are from major cities, such as NYC, Newark, (and, OK for the sake of this comment, Asbury Park), LA, Phili, etc. Long Island papers (such as Newsday) are PennySavers with glandular problems. No one takes them seriously unless they want to buy a used car.

: David Denby of the venerable New Yorker magazine (a notoriously tough cookie to crack) apparently dug the movie.
