Yeah. Also there's a throwaway line in Chasing Amy from Holden to Alyssa where she mentions her sister and he asks, "The one who wrote the book?"
Also if we examine the Jones Family Tree closer, the girl that leaves with Rick Derris to go to the beach in CLERKS is another Jones girl, as she mentions she's Alyssa's sister as well.
